Who am I?
My name is Mirabela and I am an English teacher and translator. I was born in Arad, Romania, but I grew up in Valencia, Spain, where I still live nowadays. Since I was a child, I have been curious and interested in languages, so I decided to turn my passion into a job.
What did I study?
- B.A in English Studies with minor in Italian at the University of Valencia.
- I speak 5 languages: Spanish, Romanian, Valencian, English and Italian, of which Spanish, Romanian and Valencian are native.
- Master’s degree in English-Spanish professional translation at Rovira i Virgili University (legal-economic translation, scientific-technical translation, audiovisual, subtitling and CAT tools).
- Legal translation course. Preparation of documents and expert translation reports at the Nebrija University with a duration of 150 hours.
- Essential Management Skills online course by the International Business Management Institute, Berlin, Germany.
- Course in digital skills: office tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
